Engineer (m/f/d) mechanical Engineering / TGA

full-time or part-time

Your Tasks

  • As part of a team, you will develop strategic concepts for sustainable, future-proof technical building services and create cross-trade energy supply concepts with a focus on renewable energy generation.

  • You will plan partly independently and partly as a team in the work phases LPH 1-5 according to HOAI. You will use your CAD and calculation skills and carry out heating and cooling load calculations independently (we currently work with BricsCad+Caprofi, DDS-CAD, C.A.T.S. Simaris, Strieplan and Excel calculation tools).

  • You will create tenders based on your planning using the ORCA AVA software, request proposals from companies, evaluate proposals and, if necessary, take part in contract award discussions (LPH 6-7 according to HOAI).

  • On construction sites, you will be responsible for site supervision including quality, cost and schedule controlling (LPH 8 according to HOAI).
     

Your qualifications, knowledge and skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in the field of supply, energy and/or building services engineering (ideally specializing in TGA)

  • Desirable: professional/practical experience in the tasks mentioned, ideally in the planning and design of heating, air conditioning and ventilation systems as well as building automation

  • Good knowledge of construction-specific software as well as legal requirements, guidelines and regulations (e.g. HOAI and VOB)

  • At least basic knowledge of building automation for technical building systems

  • Ability to analyze and evaluate complex issues and communicate in an appropriate manner, as well as a confident manner and consulting skills

  • A high affinity for software and willingness to familiarize yourself quickly with new software

  • Collegiality, team spirit and digital competence in virtual collaboration and project planning

  • Very good written and spoken German skills (at least C1), good English skills (at least B2)

  • Willingness to occasionally travel within Germany (e.g. to Frankfurt am Main)

Trainee (m/f/d)

with subsequent further employment as a working student (m/f/d)

in the field of supply technology and technical building services

Duration: At least 4 months internship, ideally followed by further employment as a working student
Location: Oberaudorf, Bavaria, Germany (internship)

Occasional business travel with project management is possible.

remote / homeoffice (working student)

Scope of work: full-time, 38 hours per week (internship)

part-time, by arrangement (working student)

Upon completion of your studies you may be offered a position as Junior Engineer.

Your tasks

  • Participation in the conceptual design and planning of technical systems in buildings (sanitary, heating, cooling, air conditioning, building automation, etc.)

  • Collaboration in the preparation of feasibility studies Energy supply (electricity, heating, cooling)

  • Preparation of tender documents in consultation with specialist planners/project managers

  • Documentation on construction sites etc.
     

Your qualifications, knowledge and skills

  • At least a completed 3rd semester in an engineering program in TGA, utility engineering or energy engineering

  • Ideally some practical experience in a TGA profession

  • Good CAD and Office skills

  • Language skills/levels: German at least C1, English at least B2

  • Independent work style and commitment

  • Ability to work in a team, high level of technical understanding and enjoyment of work
